As a submissive and a kinkster, community and education are things that I value highly. My own journey into exploring kink was rocky. I wasn't prepared to navigate the lifestyle safely and the kink community while incredible for the most part can feel like jumping into shark infested waters if you don't know the basics of safety, what to look out for and how to protect yourself. 

Knowledge is Power

So, where do you go for reliable information? Hint: 50 Shades of Grey is not the answer. Google and the internet are good resources if you are able to find reliable sources of kink education. Fetlife, will put you in touch with the larger community. You're able to access information, pictures, and stories, but it operates more like a kinky facebook than a quality resource. 

It's very important to me to help those new to exploring kink and BDSM. I want to ensure that others have ethical resources and somewhere to go for guidance. I want other kinksters to be able to learn and explore their kinks free from judgement and bias.

I was so fortunate to be invited to join the Kynk 101 team to fulfill this dream of mine. We have educational articles on everything from risk mitagation for specific kinks, types of play, to navigating polyamory and other types of relationship dynamics. We also have journals which are personal stories written by real kinksters sharing their knowledge and experiences. From podcasts, to weekly discussions our focus is to help others navigate the world of kink as safely and as informed as possible.

To provide introductory information on what kink & BDSM means, promote awareness without judgement, and explore why people kink the way they do.

Our Values

We'll never tell you how to do something, but we will provide personal insight and recommend additional resources on the topics that matter to kinksters.

We are committed to maintaining discussion on why we do what we do, and how it shapes us as kinksters.

We'll never kink-shame, instead, we'll explore the ethics and psychology behind specific kinks and fetishes wherever possible from an objective point-of-view.
